I am Tawanda – a single MOM to a set of identical twin boys and we currently reside in the Chicagoland area. Outside of my immense love for Sports - I have been working in the Recruiting field for 20yrs. WOW – I feel old writing that but it’s true lol…I started my career in 2003 as a Sourcing Specialist at a staffing agency. After 6 month

Outside of my immense love for Sports - I have been working in the Recruiting field for 20yrs. WOW – I feel old writing that but it’s true lol…I started my career in 2003 as a Sourcing Specialist at a staffing agency. After 6 months I was promoted to a Recruiter role, and 1yr later I was managing one of the largest Accounts in the Chicagoland area. That’s when I realized my passion for Recruiting and “putting people to work” was real.
Even though I completed my Bachelor’s Degree I wanted to solidify my desire for Business and Human Resource – so I went on to obtain my Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus in Human Resource Management.
During that time, I started working at one of the largest job boards in America – where I had the privilege to place people at jobs for the most well renowned fortune 500 companies in the United States.

Overall, in my 20yrs of working in the Recruiting industry – I have helped people get jobs with various skillsets such as forklift drivers, machine operators, pickers/packers, material handlers, customer service admins, executive admins, Project Managers, Project Coordinators, Network Admins, Unix Admins, Java Developers, Engineers, Helpd
Overall, in my 20yrs of working in the Recruiting industry – I have helped people get jobs with various skillsets such as forklift drivers, machine operators, pickers/packers, material handlers, customer service admins, executive admins, Project Managers, Project Coordinators, Network Admins, Unix Admins, Java Developers, Engineers, Helpdesk/Desktop Techs, etc.
I have written, critiqued, edited over 10k resumes and placed at least 8k people with their dream job opportunity and STILL counting…
So…. even though I took the LSAT and originally had plans to attend law school to become a sports agent, GOD had different plans and all roads lead to my other passion for Recruiting and helping people be prepared for their dream job opportunity.
My life mission is to EDUCATE, EQUIP, and EMPOWER to EMPLOY!!!
